أنجز أفراد اللواء الثاني فرقة المشاة الاولى التابع للجيش العراقي في الأنبار تدريباتهم مع قوات التحالف على استخدام قذائف الهاون، حيث توفر هذه القذائف دعماً أساسياً لقوات المشاة والقوات البرية العراقية في عملياتها لتطهير العراق من العصابات الإجرامية، ان هذا النوع من التدريبات سوف يعزز عمليات الجيش العراقي في المستقبل لأن المدفعية تمنح القوات القدرة على إطلاق النار على الأعداء وتدمير الأهداف من مسافات بعيدة.
